The starting point for using any type of support is thinking about how it can help you have a good life and be safe and well.
If you are using a personal budget through Self-directed support, you will have a plan that lists your outcomes – such as being more confident, having positive things to do during the day that keep you away from situations that are risky for you, and so on. You may want to learn something new, or make friends.
Write down a list. Then when you talk to the people involved in the micro enterprise, you can look at how far this support or activity will help you achieve those outcomes.
