Informal Discussions

In our Permission to Dream event in 2016 we held conversations around what people, who received self-directed support, dreamt for the future. Over 60 people came together in Kintore and Inverurie in Aberdeenshire, Clydebank, Dumbarton, Wishaw and East Kilbride and shared their dreams. See more about the project here.

We also have been supporting local groups who are using co-production approaches, including people who are looking at ways to develop more support for older people’s mental health and well-being.

We have a helpful resource, produced by NDTi, on co-production involving and led by older people. You can see the resource here.

Below are notes from an informal discussion we held in 2014, facilitated by Outside the Box, about mental health and co-production:

Mental Health and Co-production in Scotland

Do you know any interesting ways co-production is being used to help people with mental health difficulties, or any ideas about how it could be? Get in touch by emailing or by calling 0141 419 0451.
